Refund Policy

Cancellation by Joy Journeys:

Joy Journeys reserves the right to cancel a tour or reschedule the departure date in the following cases:

  • When there is an official notice from the local authorities to stop operating/receiving guests after Joy Journeys has signed a contract with the customer. Upon receiving the notice, Joy Journeys is responsible for notifying the customer as soon as possible to agree on a suitable adjustment plan.
  • When Joy Journeys assesses that the weather conditions are very unfavorable and there are many potential dangers and high risks on the departure day (e.g., natural disasters, floods, landslides, etc.), Joy Journeys will be responsible for notifying the customer to adjust the departure date accordingly, and to support and create all conditions to ensure the best interests of the customer.
  • When the minimum number of guests required to organize the trip is not reached (3-4 guests) or in case of a customer booking. Joy Journeys will notify the booked customers as soon as possible to have a suitable option for changing the departure date.

In the above cases, if the customer wants to cancel the tour, they will be refunded 100% of the tour cost paid or the departure date can be postponed to a date agreed by both parties.

Cancellation by Customer:

  • Cancellation 48 hours or more before the departure date: 100% refund of the amount paid for the booking.
  • In other cases of force majeure such as visa problems, hospitalization, emergency, etc., Joy Journeys will have a suitable solution for each customer, each case.

Refund Method:

  • For bookings made through online travel agencies, the refund will be contacted and processed directly by the support department of that agency.
  • For bookings made through the Joy Journeys website, the refund is made online via bank transfer/online money transfer via online payment application/e-wallet.
